RESTREETO® inaugurated at the BSPP: a new generation of underground fire hydrant against street-pooling

Inauguration of the RESTREETO® underground fire hydrant

On April 3rd, the RESTREETO® underground fire hydrant was officially inaugurated at the BSPP training centre in Valenton (94), alongside the Brigade de sapeurs-pompiers de Paris (BSPP) 

This innovation is the result of a close collaboration between BAYARD's teams and the BSPP initiated in 2015.
A partnership in the field, designed jointly to respond to a very real problem: street-pooling.

A phenomenon that is on the rise with concrete consequences:

• Significant waste of water resources
• Endangering people
• Unavailability of equipment in emergency situations

RESTREETO® is one of the operational responses to these challenges:

• Safe access to water
• Limiting Unauthorized Uses
• Guaranteed availability for rescue

Its installation in Valenton now allows firefighters to train and train directly on this equipment that they will use in intervention.

A long-standing collaboration between BAYARD and the BSPP, which combines public safety and responsible management of water resources.
