The EDRV valve has optimised obturator and flow profile to minimise pressure losses. This significantly increases operating efficiency, particularly in pumping stations.
The nozzle, special spring and closing stroke make the valve highly responsive, even at low flow velocities (e.g. in a vertical pipe). The flow is slowed down gradually and water hammer is greatly reduced.
