The foot check valve is a device designed to equip pumping stations.
When the pumps are stopped, it automatically retains the water column, thus preventing the pumps from unpriming. It operates in a vertical upward position.
It opens gradually according to the vacuum created by the suction pumps. When the pumps are stopped, the return spring closes the device.
Applications :
- Pumping stations for water distribution and irrigation (filtered water)
Product benefits :
- Hydraulically profiled disc optimises flow passage.
- Improved translation of the discin its by the use of a bronze ring to limit premature wear.
- Simple axial guidance prevents the valve from jamming.
- Cable entry for submersible pump.
- Stainless steel spring allows installation in any position.
- Fast closing : early closing to reduce flutter, thanks to the assistance of the stainless steel spring.
- Long axial guide for reduced movement (low inertia).
- Low pressure loss
Range :
- DN 50 - DN 250
- PFA 10 or 16
Technical data :
